Payment

It is easy to pay for your order with a credit or debit card or PayPal through my online shop which is powered by a highly respected system called Stripe.

SHIPPING

As a general rule my dispatch time is 1-2 working days.  If you need a particularly speedy delivery then please contact me before placing your order and I will confirm whether or not this is possible.

Most UK orders are sent out by Evri as standard delivery and not signed for.  They aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.

If you live in the Bournemouth area and want to avoid shipping costs, select the Pick-Up option during your purchase. You can then contact me on 07590489090 to arrange a convenient time to pick up your order.

International sHIPPING

At the moment this website can only accept UK orders.  If you want a order sent outside the UK, please contact me to tell me:

  • what you want to order

  • the delivery address

  • your contact details.

I will then calculate the postage and invoice you. You will be liable for any customs and import taxes and charges payable upon delivery.  I am not responsible for delays due to customs.

I do my best in packaging to ensure your items get to you safe and in one piece. In the unlucky event you receive your item damaged:

  1. Please notify me straight away.

Luckily, we have had remarkably few breakages and problems with delivery and as my items are high fired and packaged securely it is rare for items to become damaged in transit.

Frequently asked questions

The item I want is 'sold out'.  Will you be making any more?

Please use the contact form to get in touch.  I will let you know when it will next be available or we can discuss a custom order for you.

How long will a custom order take to make?

This depends entirely on your request, the size of the item, and the number you would like. I will always give as accurate an estimate as possible and will try to send your item out to you as quickly as possible.

Can I cancel my order?

An order cannot be cancelled once it has been dispatched.
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once work on the order has commenced.

I have an additional question about an item

I have tried to ensure that all my photography is as clear and accurate as possible but please feel free to ask me any extra questions about an item directly, no matter how small.

Ceramics and its Care

All pottery from Made by Powley is handmade and not mass-produced in a factory so each piece is unique and slight imperfections or markings of the process may be present. This is evidence that the pieces are made by hand and not by machine or with molds.  These will not affect the aesthetics, function or life of the item and most likely it will add to its charm!

All of my pottery is food-safe as well as microwave and dishwasher safe, but they are not designed for oven cooking.

If the pottery is filled with liquid (such as a vase or plant pot, etc.), please place on a coaster to protect wood surfaces. This is required for both handmade and factory-produced ceramics.

All my work is high quality stoneware which makes it both hard wearing and long lasting. With care they could last hundreds or thousands of years!

Be kind to your ceramics and they will give you years of joy!
