Ceramic Bowl with Black Spots is an eyecatching serving dish at your next dinner party table. Also perfect for serving hors d'oeuvres or snacks such as crisps or to place in the middle of your table to hold you favourite fruit.

The bowl is thrown on my potter's wheel with white stoneware clay. After its first firing, the interior of the bisqued bowl is covered in a transparent glaze so the colour of the clay can been seen. The exterior is of the bowl is glazed in yellow and then the black spots are added using a round sponge. The ceramic bowl is then returned to the kiln for its final firing to 1240 degrees Celcius.
