Ceramic Oil Bottle, pottery oil bottle with spout, handmade oil bottle yellow, pottery vinegar bottle, handmade vinegar bottle, cooking oil bottle, ceramic vinegar bottle with spout.

The Spotted Yellow ceramic bottle is created on my potter's wheel on the south coast of Dorset, England, using stoneware clay. When the bottle has dried to leather hard, I press my MadeByPowley stamp at the base of the bottle. The bottle is then left to dry before it is placed in the kiln for the first firing, the bisque firing which reaches the temperature of 1050 degrees Celcius. The ceramic oil / vinegar bottle is removed from the kiln and is covered with a speckled yellow glaze. I brush charcoal underglaze into my MadeByPowley stamp and then remove the excess glaze with a damp sponge. The piece is now ready for the final firing, the high fire, that reaches 1240 degrees Celcius. 3 days later, the kiln has cooled sufficiently to safely open it. So happy to see the sunshiny yellow. Filled with joy!!!

Approximate dimensions: Height (not including the spout) : Height (without the pouring spout): 13 cm / 5 inches

If a ceramic piece is filled with liquid it should not be placed directly on a wood surface for prolonged periods. Please use a coaster to protect your wood. This applies to handmade and factory-made ceramics.

Hope you LOVE your new oil bottle and it makes you smile!
