Ceramic bottle, pottery bottle, ceramic oil bottle with pouring spout, handmade vase. Perfect for olive oil, vinegar, cooking oil.

Created on my potter's wheel on the south coast of Dorset, England, this strong, modern form is made from warm white stoneware clay. When the vase/bottle is dried to leather hard, press my MadeByPowley stamp at the base of the bottle. The bottle is then left to dry before it is placed in the kiln for its first firing, the bisque firing which reaches the temperature of 1040 degrees Celcius.

The bottle is removed from the kiln and covered in a quartz coloured glaze. The bottle is now ready for its final firing, the high fire, to 1240 degrees Celcius. 3 days later the kiln has cooled sufficiently and is safe to open. So pleased to see and feel the oil bottle. Very, very tactile!!!

Pouring Spout included. The spout opens by tipping the bottle. To remove the cap, hold the black rubber at the base and wiggle it out. Please do not overfill. Leave an air gap in the bottle.

If a ceramic piece is filled with liquid it should not be placed directly on a wood surface for prolonged periods. Please use a coaster to protect your wood. This applies to handmade and factory-made ceramics.

Remove the pouring spout and the ceramic bottle/vase is dishwasher and microwave safe.

Wouldn't this pouring bottle filled with cooking oil look terrific standing beside your hob or on the table filled with your favourite oil or vinegar. Hope you LOVE your new drizzler!!!
